What a MAGICAL Monday morning we had today! Halloween Trails
It was lovely to see so many children and their adults following the Halloween trails around St John’s Garden to help us work out the spooky mystery and solve all the riddles.
In case you missed it (or fancy doing something spooky outdoors this week!), we’ve created two different Halloween trails you can follow:
Spooky Halloween Trail — Who Stole the Halloween Treats? (for younger children) Download Here
Riddle Trail Adventure — Solve the Spooky Riddles! (for older children) Download Here
The key thing to remember is that it’s not a race! We don’t want to disturb the garden’s wildlife, so please creep around quietly… like a zombie!
Use the map on the noticeboard to find the 10 Historical History Boards (no need to visit them in order).
At each board:
Complete the Action with lots of energy (and a big smile!).
For the Spooky Halloween Trail - follow the instructions on your sheet to find the correct letter from the text on the board — once you have letters from all 10, this will reveal the name of the trick-or-treat goodies’ thief!
Or, for the Riddle Trail Adventure, use each Historical History Board to help you solve the spooky riddles.
We’ve already received some wonderful feedback (thank you! ), and we’re excited to say that we are planning other trails, including a Christmas trail — we’d love to see you all again soon. Also, if you'd like to help us in the garden or with any future trails, please do email (stjohnsgarden.ec1@gmail.com or clairejaninesng@gmail.com for the trails.)
Watch this space!
